Weight Loss

Weight-Loss Diary – 3/20/2019

I’ve been bummed about my weight the last week or so because when I started running, instead of going down in weight after all of that work, I had gone up 2 lbs. Please, don’t get me wrong. I know weight isn’t everything. It’s how your clothes fit and how you feel that’s important – I know. That said, I use my weight as a determining point to see if I’m eating alright and if I’m being active enough. Eventually, when my clothes get to big, my weight SHOULD go down.

This morning I was waiting for my coffee to brew (PLUG: Seattle’s Best, Portside Blend – not because they told me to but because I truly love it), I got on the scale and would you believe it? I was down 5 lbs. Last time I was blogging I mentioned that I needed to see some progress soon or I was going to fizzle out. Well here it was! Sounds like someone was listening after all.

I have goals. I want to fit into the clothes I was wearing when I first started real estate in 2012. It was the time everything got crazy and I went from going to the gym daily to not going at all because I was busy and finding comfort in fast food. Honestly it was a rough time. It was confusing and I was losing friends left and right because I didn’t know when I was going to be busy. The biggest thing I learned was that you HAVE to make time for yourself. If you’re super busy, you just have to find time to fit it in. If you have to schedule an “appointment” for the time you go to the gym so be it. Mentally you’re better off and physically… well… you need that time to unwind and better yourself.
